Apps about pregnancy and parenting

I have been translating app content for a pregnancy and a baby app for Health & Parenting Ltd. (acquired by Philips) since 2015. In 2018, I translated another baby-related app for an independent developer.

Having worked closely with app developers, producers and content writers, I have learnt a lot about the app development and localisation process and gained experience of using a variety of translation platforms, such as Smartcat and Crowdin.

When localising parenting content for the Russian market, I have to ensure it is relevant, engaging, culturally appropriate and easy to read, while working with typical user interface constraints, such as character limits.
