Website of a luxury jewellery brand

This project involved translating website content for a high-end jewellery brand, including product descriptions and background information on the brand’s history and evolution, as well as the user interface and menus.

The descriptions of the collections – especially the “high jewellery” ones – required a creative and poetic touch, while the specifications contained technical details relating to precious stones, metals and jewellery-making techniques.

After translating over 50,000 words of content, I was tasked with quality assurance (QA) before the website went live to spot possible problems. Given the volume, this required several rounds of QA, but helped flag up and resolve quality issues before the launch.
